Another inclusive venue is the Vista Dining Room. This is the main dining room on Oosterdam.
This split-level dining room spans Decks Two and Three, located at the ship’s aft. Reservations can be made by dialling 88 or through the Navigator app. If you haven’t made a reservation The Vista Dining Room also welcomes walk-ins and there is a separate entrance for guests with reservations or suite guests who have upgraded to Club Orange.
The Dining Room is a great spot for an elegant breakfast, a leisurely lunch on sea days, or a multi-course dinner. Lunch at sea offers a tempting selection of dishes, all included in your fare, though some specialty items have a small surcharge if you wish to indulge.

Some menu items come with a surcharge, like the premium steaks from the Pinnacle Grill. The Gala Evening menu in the Dining room, features an impressive selection of starters and mains, and it’s an opportunity to show appreciation as the galley crew parades through the dining room.
Dive-In Poolside Grill and Taco Bar
Another inclusive dining option on Oosterdam is the Dive-In Poolside Grill, which in my opinion hands down serves the best poolside burgers at sea and which are all individual cooked to order.
Alongside burgers and hot dogs on offer, there are crip fries cooked 4 ways and daily milkshake specials. The Dive-In is open from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m so it’s perfect for a casual poolside lunch or an early dinner.
Nearby, the Dive in you’ll find another inclusive dining option –the self-serve Taco Bar, where you can make your own tacos, fajitas, and choose from a variety of accompaniments such as beans, roasted corn, and Mexican rice but be careful choose your heat level wisely with the array of chili sauce on offer!
Room service
Room service is available 24 hours a day with a selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks. There are also some up-charge items available if you’d like to indulge. When I ordered room service, I found the food was served piping hot, and the portion size, freshness and quality was fantastic.
Royal Dutch Tea
Oosterdam also offers the Royal Dutch Tea in the Dining Room on Deck Three, and this is usually held on sea days. It’s a lovely way to spend an hour, and features Dutch sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats like stroopwafels, Dutch butter cake, and mini Dutch apple tarts. A selection of teas is also available.
No reservations are required, and tea is served from 3 p.m.
Crow’s Nest Café,
While its not a formal dining venue, another place to grab a pastry with a gourmet coffee during the day is the Crow’s Nest Café. Located right at the top of the ship overlooking the bow at the front, this panoramic lounge is a perfect spot for a quiet, contemplative breakfast with a view perhaps before you attend one of the many art classes nearby.
Neptune Lounge
Neptune and Pinnacle suite guests also have access to the Neptune Lounge, and this is located on Deck Seven midship. This private lounge offers complimentary refreshments throughout the day, with continental breakfast in the morning and sandwiches, cookies, and pastries available between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
