You will find the spa café on all Celebrity cruises ships (except the Galapagos ships). In this post I review the Spa Café on Celebrity Silhouette including menus, what’s include and what I thought if it during my time on board.
What is the Spa Café on Celebrity Silhouette?
Celebrity Cruises was one of the first cruise lines to offer a spa restaurant and the Spa café acts as an extension of the spa experience on board. Conveniently located near the Spa and the Fitness Centre you’ll find the spa café on deck 12 in a corner of the Solarium. The dress code is always casual and reservations are not needed.
The Spa Café serves a complimentary menu of small breakfast and lunch items along with homemade breads and smoothies.
Spa Café also has a Juice Bar that also serves freshly pressed juices and smoothies. These are included in the Premium and Zero Proof drinks packages.
The Spa Café menu was recently updated in 2023 and below you’ll find the menus and examples of some of the food you can enjoy here.
Spa Café Menus on Celebrity Silhouette
The spa café offers breakfast and lunch menu.
The breakfast menu is themed around dishes which focus on ‘Recover’ and ‘Balance’. The lunch menu dishes focus on themes of ‘Energize’, ‘Recover’ and ‘Balance’. There is a good selection of gluten free and vegan options and fresh pressed juices and smoothies are available on both menus (although there is an upcharge for these).

What I liked about the Spa Café on Celebrity Silhouette
The spa café seems to be a hidden gem on board. During my week to the Norwegian Fjords (and a subsequent 4-night cruise to Amsterdam and Bruges which was a lot busier) the café never seemed crowded, there was never a queue to get served and there was always a place to sit.
As the Solarium is an adult only space for much of the day when the Spa café is open, many guests retreated to the Oceanview Café and Mast grill and outdoor pool for lunch instead. We did occasionally see a steady stream of passengers make their way past the Spa café as they headed to an event or quiz in the Sky Lounge.
The portion sizes of the food are just right – enough to recharge after a gym session or a light meal in between spa treatments. As most of the food is self-serve buffet style there wasn’t much waiting around. While the food was healthy, it did not compromise on taste.
It was also a lovely place to grab quick snack and enjoy the ocean views. If you want to have a peaceful healthy focused breakfast, then I would definitely recommend coming here to start your day.
If you are basing yourself in the solarium for the day, (and with an all-weather pool, comfy sun loungers and two whirlpools why wouldn’t you?) the Spa café is a convenient way to start your day and refuel for lunch without having to uproot yourself.
What I didn’t like about The Spa Café on Celebrity Silhouette
There was very little I didn’t like about this place to be honest. However, it is a shame that there aren’t any complementary smoothies or juices included in the menus as it would be nice to see a smoothie and fresh pressed juice option included without any upcharge.
In conclusion
The Spa Café on Celebrity Silhouette is a little oasis if you manage to find it on board. I really enjoyed this space on ship.
