I’ve put together all the drinks menu on Holland America Line along with information about their drink packages to help you decide whether a package is worth it for you. What are Holland America Line Beverage Packages?
Holland America Line offers three different drinks packages, there is an additional Coca Cola package which is only available on Koningsdam, Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam. There is also a Have It All Package which includes drinks and other extras – which I will detail more in a separate post.

Coca-Cola™ Package $8.00 per person, per day
This package is perfect of you just want unlimited fountain sodas.
On Koningsdam, Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam, you have access to the Coca-Cola™ Freestyle programme, featuring more than 100 flavour combinations.
Quench Beverage Package (Non-Alcoholic) $17.95 per person, per day
The Quench Package is perfect for those who prefer alcohol-free options, Depending on the sailing, the Quench Package may be unlimited or subject to a daily limit of 15 beverages. Nevertheless, it still provides excellent value for if you enjoy speciality coffees and soft drinks throughout the day. This package includes:
Premium coffees such as espresso and cappuccino
Juices
Coca-Cola™ products
Signature mocktails
Red Bull
Signature Beverage Package From $60.95 per person, per day
The Signature Package builds upon the Quench Package. This option suits guests who enjoy a variety of alcoholic drinks throughout the day while keeping within a set daily allowance. It includes:
Premium beers, spirits and cocktails
Wines by the glass
Drinks priced up to $12
A daily limit of 15 beverages (alcoholic and zero-proof combined)
Elite Beverage Package From $65.95 per person, per day
The Elite Package is the most comprehensive drinks experience on board. It includes all the benefits of the Quench and Signature packages, plus:
All drinks priced up to $16
Unlimited zero-proof beverages
A daily limit of 15 alcoholic drinks
This package is ideal for guests who appreciate premium wines, spirits and cocktails, and want the broadest selection available.
Have It All Package From $60.00 per person, per day (Pre-cruise Price)
The Have It All Package combines the Signature Beverage Package with additional extras, such as, shore excursion credit, specialty dining and Wi-Fi.
If you are opting of the signature package, then this package is definitely worth buying before your cruise instead as it offers significant savings compared to purchasing each of these elements separately.
What’s Not Included in The Drinks Packages?
While you can use your drinks package at any of the bars and lounges, cafés on board including the Dining Room and fine dining restaurants, the package doesn’t apply in the following locations:
❌ Purchases on RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay
❌Self-service draft beer
❌Milkshakes and Juices form Gelato or Dive In
❌Mini-bar or in-room dining (however you can bring drinks from the bar back to your cabin/ stateroom).
Important Things To Know Before Buying A Holland America Drinks Package
➡️ Prices are per person, per day. Onboard prices can vary.
➡️ All adults of legal drinking age sharing the same stateroom must purchase the same alcoholic package for the full cruise duration.
➡️ Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable. Sharing isn’t allowed.
➡️ Only one drink can be ordered at a time.
➡️ Holland America reserves the right to remove a package if it is misused
➡️ Daily limits apply to Signature and Elite packages (15 alcoholic drinks per day). The Elite Package includes unlimited zero-proof beverages, while the Signature Package counts zero-proof drinks towards the daily total.
When Can You Buy The Holland America Drinks Packages?
You can purchase the beverage packages Before sailing by logging into your booking via “My Account” on the Holland America Line website or wait until you are On board during the first or second day of your cruise by speaking to a Bar Team Member or visiting the promotional table at embarkation. Holland America also offer the options to buy beverage packages, beverage cards, wine packages, spirits and water in advance as gift cards.
Can You Take Alcohol On Board Holland America Line?
Yes you can bring on board water and wine/champagne, but there are clear limits and exclusions. Any alcohol you purchase in ports or from the ship’s gift shop is held for safekeeping and delivered to your stateroom prior to disembarkation.
Wine and Champagne: 750 ml or less per bottle which is subject to a US$20 corkage fee per bottle (One bottle per person purchased during Holland America winery excursions is exempt from corkage)
Non-Alcoholic Drinks: Sodas/Soft Drinks and energy drinks are not allowed, neither are plastic water bottles.
Water: Up to 6 litres total, or 12 cans (500 ml or less), or 6 cans/cartons (1 litre or less)
Which is the right Holland America Line Drinks Package for you?
Selecting the right package will depend on your preferences if you:
Enjoy premium cocktails and fine wines? The Elite Package offers maximum flexibility.
Prefer a mix of beers, spirits and wines within a set range? The Signature Package may be better.
Love speciality coffees and soft drinks? The Quench Package provides excellent everyday value.
Travelling with children or only drink soft drinks? The Coca-Cola™ Package is a simple, cost-effective solution if you're sailingon Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam or Koningsdam
