B.B. King’s Blues Club

This is one of the most popular bars on Rotterdam and a centrepiece of Holland America Line’s famous Music Walk. This high-energy venue features a live band performing rhythm and blues, soul, and classic hits each evening. The atmosphere is vibrant and social, and it’s hard to stay off the dance floor. It is a favourite spot for many on board with live entertainment and a sparkling nightlife experience on board.

What I love most about this place is the informal setting, audience participation, and light-hearted entertainment it’s a wonderful choice for a highly sociable evening.

Located centrally and overlooking the ship’s atrium, the Ocean Bar is one of the most versatile lounges on Rotterdam. It’s open throughout the day and serves everything from coffee and light drinks in the afternoon to cocktails and wine in the evening. Its convenient location makes it a great meeting point before you step ashore and a favourite for pre-dinner drinks. It’s the perfect place to enjoy live music and pre-dinner cocktails, especially if you have reservations at either Pinnacle Grill or Rudi’s Sel de Mer.

You’d be forgiven if you missed this bar, as it is tucked away in a small corner near Club Orange on Deck 2. Exclusive to Rotterdam, this venue offers an immersive experience exploring the history of Holland America Line and cruising through the lens of a cocktail. It stretches into the adjoining passage, where window seating offers mesmerising sea views. Stop for a while to sample one of the seven exclusive signature cocktails on offer.
Tamarind Bar

Located within the Tamarind restaurant, the Tamarind Bar complements the ship’s pan-Asian dining options with a curated drinks menu. This bar has a calm, intimate atmosphere makes and is great choice if you’re looking for a quieter, more refined evening drink.
Lido Bar

The Lido Bar offers poolside drinks in a relaxed environment with a casual, open-air experience, During the day, it is a perfect pitstop for beers, soft drinks, and frozen cocktails, particularly on sea days and warm-weather itineraries. Live music and entertainment on the big screen also add to the atmosphere, making it an all-round bar on board.

The Panorama Bar on Deck 10 provides the perfect place to enjoy a drink with the buzz of the Lido Pool directly below, and in the evenings it also offers a great spot to watch poolside movies.

If you’re after aft views int the sunshine, The Sea View Bar lives up to its name with panoramic ocean views and a peaceful ambience. With a more adult oriented vibe, it’s an ideal spot for daytime drinks and or enjoying a sunset at sea with a sundowner. In the evening s it’s a great place to head if you’re after scenery and tranquillity over nightlife, away form some of the more energetic live music lounges.
Sun Bar

This little bar is ticked away up on Deck 12 on the sun deck. It’s open when the weather permits and is a great alternative if you’re high up on the sun deck catching some rays and don’t feel like moving too far (back down to the sea view pool) to get some drinks. It’s also super convenient for the sports court
Crow’s Nest and Explorations Café

The best way I can describe the Crow’s Next and Explorations Café is that it combines the atmosphere of a library, café, and wine bar all in one. Here, you’ll find a quiet space for reading, relaxing, or just enjoying sea views while sipping coffee, wine, or light refreshments. This bar is an absolute hidden gem on board and is one of the most comfortable and versatile lounges on Rotterdam, from morning coffee with a view to an evening cocktail before dinner.

This dedicated whisky bar proudly boasts 120 whisky labels on display and offers the chance to sample some of the rarest selections in the world. The interactive menu board and multiple tasting options are designed to identify personalised flavour profiles for every guest.
