Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Services on Holland America Line
Holland America Line offers a full-service laundry and dry-cleaning options to get your laundry done on holiday. There are no self-service Laundrettes on board Holland America Line ships.
What laundry services are available on Holland America Line?
There are two types laundry services available
- A regular service which takes 48 hours
- A same day service returned the same day
Within each service there are three laundry options available:
- Regular Laundry (returned either folder or on hangers)
- Eco-Friendly Dry Cleaning

Holland America Line also offer Unlimited Laundry and Unlimited Pressing packages for the duration of your cruise.
Simply fill out the laundry form in your stateroom, place your items in the provided laundry bag, and your steward will collect, and return your freshly laundered items. You can also request pick up via the Navigator App.

Holland America Line provides some best value Laundry packages I’ve come across.
Laundry by the bag
For $35 you can get all the laundry you can fit into the Blue Holland America line laundry bag (See the photo below for the size). This is limited to laundry items and doesn’t include any eco-friendly dry-cleaning items. Turnaround time is 48 hours
Unlimited laundry
Holland America line offer an unlimited laundry and pressing service for your entire cruise the price is based on the number of days of your cruise. Turnaround time is 48 hours. The cost per day is $10.50

Unlimited pressing
If you would just rather just have unlimited pressing Holland America line also offers this option. The price is based on the number of days of your cruise and turnaround time is 48 hours. The cost per day is $5.00

An express service is available with a 50% surcharge on the prices above. Laundry will be returned the same day
All items received by 9:00am will be returned the next day.
Loyalty discounts
Four-Star Mariners receive complementary laundry and pressing services, however the express service and the eco-friendly dry cleaning is not included.
How long does it take for laundry to be processed on Holland America Line?
The Regular laundry service is 48 hours, and laundry is picked up before 9:00am and returned the next day.
A same day service is available; Laundry is picked up before 9:00am and returned the same day. This service incurs a slightly higher fee, but the convenience is worth it if you’re on a tight schedule. There is an additional 50% surcharge for this service.
