What cabins are available on Havila Voyages?

Havila Voyages are the newest and most eco-friendly ships on the Norwegian coastal route. There are four ships in the current fleet (Castor, Capella, Pollux and Polaris). 

There are 12 different grades of cabin on each Havila Voyages ship ranging from affordable interior cabins to exclusive Lighthouse suites. The layout on all 4 ships in the Havila Voyages fleet (Castor, Capella, Pollux and Polaris) are identical which makes it much easier to choose a cabin.

All cabins on Havila include Free WIFI, USB ports, TV. The cabins are spacious reflect the Nordic landscape in their decor. They are pleasant places to relax during the day and a comfortable space to catch a great night’s sleep.

There are a range of cabins to suit all preferences and budgets ranging from interior cabins, sea views, balconies, and impressive suites. Although most cabins on each ship are sea view cabins.

For those who may be travelling just two or three nights on the costal voyage, an interior cabin is perfect. Although for those travelling the full round trip voyage or the voyage south or north might prefer to upgrade to a sea view or suite. Cabins and suites range from 16msq to 45msq and can accommodate up to four people.

Interior Cabins on Havila Voyages

Interior cabins are the most affordable cabins on ship. There are two grades of interior cabin:

Interior – 37 cabins
Interior Accessible – 10 cabins

Interior

They can accommodate 2  persons and are typically 10-15msq. All interior cabins sleeping 2 people have 1 lower single bed and 1 upper berth. 

Cabins also include a sofa, TV, Hairdryer, Tea and coffee making facilities and Free Wi-Fi, wardrobe and a bathroom with shower.

There are 37 Interior cabins on board spread over several decks.

Deck 4 – 9 cabins located at the aft
Deck 5 – 14 cabins located at the aft
Deck 7 – 14 cabins located at the aft

Interior Accessible

There are 10 interior accessible cabins on ship. Cabins in this category are larger with accessible bathrooms. These cabins are perfect for guests who need extra space due to their use of mobility aids.

They can accommodate 2 – 4 persons and are typically 16–18 msq. Cabins which accommodate up to 4 people have 2 lower and 2 upper berths.

Cabins also include a sofa, TV, Hairdryer, Tea and coffee making facilities and Free Wi-Fi, wardrobe and an accessible bathroom.

There are 10 Interior accessible cabins on board spread over several decks.

Deck 4 – 2 cabins (1 forward and 1 mid aft)
Deck 5 – 4 cabins (3 forward and 1 mid aft)
Deck 7 – 4 cabins (3 forward and 1 mid aft)

Exterior Cabins:

These cabins are more spacious cabins with the same stylish, Nordic interiors plus these cabins also come with the added views of the sea and nature on the voyage. There are Seaview cabins, Panoramic Cabins, Balcony Cabins, and Suites (see section below). In the deluxe cabins there is extra emphasis on quality and comfort of the interior and furnishings.

There are 8 different grades of exterior cabin (not including the suites):

Seaview Superior Double – 74 cabins
Seaview Superior Twin – 14 cabins
Seaview Superior Accessible – 6 cabins
Seaview Deluxe – 4 cabins
Balcony Deluxe – 2 cabins
Balcony Deluxe Accessible – 2 cabins
Panoramic Superior – 2 cabins
Panoramic Deluxe – 2 cabins

Seaview Superior Double/Twin

These are outside cabins with a picture window for a sea view. These cabins are configured as either a Twin or Double and can accommodate 2–4 passengers. Cabins which accommodate up to 4 persons have a double bed with a sofa bed.

There are 74 Seaview Superior Double Cabins and 14 Seaview Superior Twin Cabins

The cabin size is 15 msq and all cabins in this category come with Sofa or sofa bed, fridge, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi, a large wardrobe, desk and a separate bathroom with shower.

Seaview Superior cabins are on average 15 msq and there is a choice of double or twin beds plus a sofa for up to 2 persons.

There are 74 Superior Seaview Double cabins on board are spread over Deck 4 and Deck 5:
Deck 4 – 34 cabins (forward – aft)
Deck 5 – 40 cabins (forward – aft)

There are 14 Superior Seaview Twin cabins on board:
Deck 4 – 14 cabins (midship to aft, starboard side)

Seaview Superior Accessible

There are 6 of these cabins on board. These cabins accommodate 2 passengers and size-wise they are 20 msq. These are outside cabin with sea view picture window. The cabins have a Double bed, sofa, fridge, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi a large wardrobe and a desk.

All cabins in the Accessible category are larger with more spacious bathrooms suitable for wheelchair users.

There are 6 Seaview Superior Accessible cabins on board spread over two decks:
Deck 4 – 4 cabins (forward)
Deck 5 – 2 cabins (forward)

Seaview Deluxe

There are 4 of these cabins on board. These spacious cabins are located at the front of deck 7 (2 cabins) or at the stern of the ship on deck 5 (2 cabins)

Cabins typically accommodate 2-4 passengers and are 30 msq in size. These are outside cabins with picture windows. Seaview Deluxe cabins have 1 double bed plus a sofa or sofa bed, coffee table, desk with chair, fridge, hairdryer. tea and coffee, free wifi.

There are 4 Seaview Deluxe cabins on board spread over two decks:
Deck 5 – 2 cabins (aft)
Deck 7 -2 cabins (forward)

Panoramic Superior and Panoramic Deluxe

These cabins are located on deck 7 at the bow of the ship and have floor-to-ceiling windows. There are 2 of each of these cabins on board each ship.

As these are front facing cabins which look out in the direction the ship is sailing, they make you feel like the skipper at the helm. All cabins accommodate up to 2 people.

All these cabins are 30 msq in size and include floor-to-ceiling windows, double bed, seating area with table, desk with chair, fridge, hairdryer, tea and coffee and free Wi-Fi.

There are 4 Panoramic Cabins on board (2 Panoramic Superior cabins and 2 Panoramic Deluxe cabins):
Deck 7 – 4 cabins (forward)

Balcony Deluxe

There are 2 of these cabins on board ship. The Balcony Deluxe cabins are an outside cabin with balcony. Cabins are located on upper decks and have floor-to-ceiling windows. The private balcony is approx. 6 sqm. The cabin size is approx. 21.5 msq

The cabins have 1 double bed, a sofa or sofa bed, coffee table, a large wardrobe, desk, and a separate bathroom with shower. TV, refrigerator, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

There are 2 Balcony Deluxe cabins on board:
Deck 7 – 2 cabins (forward)

Balcony Accessible

There are 2 of these cabins on ship. Balcony Accessible cabins are located on upper decks and have floor-to-ceiling windows and their own balcony of approx. 6 sqm. They can accommodate between 2-4 passengers. The accessible cabins all have larger bathrooms.

The cabins have 1 double bed, a sofa or sofa bed, coffee table, a large wardrobe, desk and a separate bathroom with shower. TV, refrigerator, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

There are 2 Balcony Accessible cabins on board:
Deck 7 – 2 cabins (forward)

Suites

Suites are the most exclusive accommodate on board Havila Voyages Ships, all suites include superior quality furnishing, décor and bedlinen, plus come included with Havila Gold, a welcome package and access to breakfast at the Hildring Fine Dining restaurant

There are two grades of suite:

Junior Suites – 10 cabins
Lighthouse Suites – 2 cabins

Junior Suite with Balcony

There are 10 of these suites on board. These spacious cabins have their very own balcony to enjoy the scenery.

Junior suites can accommodate up to 4 passengers and are 22–25msq in size. They also come with their own private balcony (6–9msq). Junior Suites have floor-to-ceiling windows, a queen-sized double bed, swivel TV, recliner chair, sofa bed with table, desk with chair, 2 wardrobes, minibar, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi, coffee machine, bathrobe, and slippers.

Suites also come with the Havila Gold included as well as a welcome package and suite guests have access to breakfast at the Hildring Fine Dining restaurant.

In the suite, the room is divided by wall with a swivel TV so you can watch TV from both the living room and the bed.

There are 10 Junior Suites on board:
Deck 7 – 2 cabins (Forward) and 8 cabins (Aft)

Lighthouse suite

The Lighthouse suites feature Havila Voyages most exclusive accommodation and are the highest-grade cabins on ship. There are only two of these cabins on board each ship. These exclusive and unique suites ooze Nordic style with warm elegance, have plenty of space and a separate bedroom. Plus, there’s your very own balcony with its own jacuzzi.

Each suite can accommodate 2 passengers and are 45 msq in size. Each suite has a private balcony (15 m²) with a jacuzzi to enjoy starry skies, the Northern Lights or the midnight sun.

The suite has exclusive décor and superior-quality furniture. There is a dining room and seating area with large sofa and free minibar which is refilled daily and a separate bathroom with shower and bath.

In the bedroom there is an extra-wide double bed. With superior quality bed linen. Elsewhere in the suite you’ll find a hairdryer, tea and coffee, free Wi-Fi, and multiple USB ports bathrobe and slippers.

Lighthouse suite can choose between a breakfast in the main restaurant or in Hildring Fine Dining. A welcome pack is available upon boarding and Lighthouse suite guests receive a personal follow-up, extra service and great offers throughout the voyage journey. Havila Gold is also included for Lighthouse suite guests.
