What Laundry Services Are Available on Virgin Voyages?

Virgin Voyages’ laundry service, The Wash, is available to all sailors and can be requested directly from your cabin. The service offers:

Wash and fold by the bag: For most sailors, this is the most cost-effective option. This option is also particularly useful on longer itineraries or if you prefer to pack light. It is priced at $55 per bag and regular delivery included.

Per-item laundry and pressing: If you only need a few items cleaned, Virgin Voyages offers per-piece pricing. This is a practical option if you only need small essentials refreshed mid-cruise. Common items covered include trousers, tops, dresses, skirts, pyjamas, undergarments, swimwear and sweaters. Prices are typically press only: $7 per item, wash and fold: $8 per item, wash and press: $9 per item

Eco clean (wet cleaning): For more delicate or structured garments, Virgin Voyages provides an eco-clean wet-cleaning service which is suitable for suits, jackets, dresses, skirts and similar items. This service avoids traditional dry cleaning while still offering professional care. Typically priced at $10 per item.

Regular and same-day express delivery: For most sailors, the standard turnaround is sufficient, but express service is useful if you need an outfit quickly which comes at an extra cost of $20 for this express service in addition to the cost of your items .

Is Laundry on Virgin Voyages Worth the Cost?

As a general rule of thumb, the wash-and-fold bag offers the best overall value, while per-item pricing works well for occasional use. If you need to wash more than 7 items (Wash and Fold only) then it is usually better value to opt for the wash and fold bag. Ultimately, whether Virgin Voyages laundry is worth it depends on your travel style:
